Hello!

My name is Ava Caruso and I am a senior year design student at the School of Visual Arts. I have always had a passion for creative expression and the robust curriculum and substantial workload at SVA has built my confidence that a career in design is the right choice for me.

I thrive on experimenting with materials, techniques, and different mediums, always searching for unique ways to communicate stories and ideas. For me, design isn’t just about making things aesthetically pleasing, it’s about making the viewer feel something. Whether the goal is a physical installation, a digital experience, or a printed piece, I want my designs to engage people, pull them in, and leave them with something meaningful.

Other than doing design work, you'll find me walking around the city with my friends following the sun and discovering new coffee spots. If I'm not out and about, I am enjoying quality time with my family and dogs!
